We were retained by the civil engineer for this project. The project consisted of architectural and civil design improvements to an existing school site. The scope of the project required a resolved boundary and topographic survey of the entire site. The completed topographic survey utilized standard field techniques integrated into an aerial topographic map of the site. In addition, an underground utility consultant was retained to locate existing buried utility lines on the site. Those utilities were marked on the surface with paint marks and were located by our survey crew. Durable monuments were also set during the survey to assist in the construction process.
